RESTORED

Show Concept & Synopsis Concept:
RESTORED is a heartwarming and authentic docu-series set in the serene town of Windermere, Florida. The series follows the journey of life through the lens of woodworking, featuring The Warrior & The Artist—Retired SWAT Commander Tom and his friend and creative artist Val. Together, they take on projects using pieces of local wood, uncovering hidden potential and carving out visions of possibility. From old oaks that have fallen to discarded furniture, every piece is transformed into something beautiful, mirroring the personal growth of the individuals involved.

Synopsis:
At the heart of RESTORED is a community and workshop that serves as a hub for creativity, camaraderie, and healing. This is where wood finds new life, and so do the people who work on it. The show blends elements of woodworking, remodeling, fishing, hunting, and cooking, creating a rich tapestry woven with threads of community, faith, and resilience. Each episode features hands-on craftsmanship and meaningful conversations, as local residents and friends join Tom and Val in the workshop or call them out on missions to serve the community. These projects become more than just physical creations—they are life lessons in disguise, teaching the values of redemption, purpose, and the power of second chances. Through their shared experiences, viewers are invited to explore what truly matters: faith, family, health, and good works. RESTORED isn’t just a show; it’s an invitation to rediscover the bonds that unite us and to find inspiration in building something lasting—both in wood and in life.
