The Resort Portal was an immersive hospitality experience concept developed during the COVID-19 pandemic to help luxury resort brands emotionally connect with travelers when travel itself was restricted. Using open architectural frames, projected beach and resort environments, ambient music, and sensory storytelling, the experience invited guests to physically step into the feeling of a luxury vacation before ever booking a trip. Designed to blur the line between marketing, hospitality, and experiential design, the concept focused on creating emotional engagement rather than traditional sales interactions. The project later evolved into the vision for a resort-inspired interior courtyard boulangerie café, exploring how destination-driven design, atmosphere, and community could transform everyday spaces into memorable experiences.
